Action Alert! Help End Trash Burning in Dickerson

This is the week to weigh in on the fate of the Dickerson trash incinerator. The Montgomery County Council is taking testimony April 7-9. You can testify via Zoom, call, or write in. Your message does not have to be long or detailed. But personalizing it can help.

Our core message is simple: ask the Council to ACT NOW and approve the portion of the County Executive’s FY2027 budget that would close the Montgomery County trash incinerator by the end of this year and shift to a safer waste disposal system for the entire county.
