Act Now: Sign Petition Against Solar Installations on FarmlandA new state law makes an estimated 100,000 to 120,000 acres of Maryland’s protected farmland—including 5,000 acres of the Ag Reserve—available for large-scale solar and battery storage facilities. Farmers statewide have launched a petition drive to overturn the law by ballot measure. 20,000 signatures are needed by THIS FRIDAY, MAY 30 as the first step in this process.
