Councilmember Marilyn Balcombe is hosting this informal community meeting. Representatives from the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection are expected to be there to answer questions about the County’s solid waste management options and the future of the Dickerson incinerator.
This is an important opportunity for residents to ask questions directly, make their concerns heard, and ensure our community is well represented in the discussion.
SCA supports ending burning trash as a solid waste management option and closing the Dickerson facility.
