More About the Forums

It’s an Election Year: Perspectives on The Issues in the Ag Reserve

There will be two public forums featuring candidates for Montgomery County Executive. Democratic candidates will gather on Thursday, April 23, and Republican candidates on Thursday, May 7. Both forums will be held from 7:00–8:30 PM at the Clarksburg High School Cafeteria, 22500 Wims Road, Clarksburg, MD. Nick Ianelli, WTOP news anchor and Montgomery County resident, will moderate.

The Democratic Candidates (April 23) are:

  • Andrew Friedson

  • Will Jawando

  • Mithun Bangeree

  • Peter James

The Republican Candidates (May 7) are:

  • Shelley Skolnick

  • Ester Wells

This is your opportunity to hear the candidates’ positions on issues facing Upper Montgomery County and the Agricultural Reserve, including:
