Peter Gimbrere
Peter is currently the Managing Executive of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, DC. Prior to that he worked as a labor lawyer and negotiator for a variety of labor unions.
Before becoming a lawyer, Peter worked for several international and domestic nonprofits, ran his own carpentry business, and built affordable housing in Dorchester, MA.
He speaks a smattering of Dutch, French, Russian, and Bahasa Indonesian; loves singing, sailing, and cycling; and lives in Dickerson on a small farm with his wife, three donkeys, three dogs, three boys, and two cats.
Peter especially enjoys finding ways to get to a win-win solution in otherwise difficult negotiations. He believes that with persistence, patience, and perseverance, parties can almost always find a solution to any problem, no matter how intractable it otherwise may seem.
